Educational and Developmental Psychologist
Kylie is a warm and enthusiastic psychologist who loves to come alongside individuals and families as they seek to overcome the challenges that life inevitably brings. Kylie holds a deep respect for her clients and is inspired by their resilience in the face of often complex and difficult circumstances. Kylie finds that evidence-based therapeutic interventions along with creative problem-solving is effective in assisting people to move forward in positive and often life-changing directions. Kylie has received much positive feedback from clients that her sensitive and kind but honest and direct approach to therapy has been the catalyst for change in their lives.
Kylie has experience and expertise to assist with the following:
- Adolescents with social, emotional, mental health or behavioural concerns.
- Parents struggling to connect with, understand and respond effectively to their children.
- Adults with anxiety and/or depression.
- Adolescents, and adults experiencing grief, crisis or personal difficulties.
- Women with peri-natal or post-natal mental health concerns.
- The intersection between Christian faith, psychology and mental health.
Kylie is also able to provide sessions to low-risk clients via telehealth.
Qualifications / Registration
- Master of Educational and Developmental Psychology (The University of Melbourne)
- Bachelor of Psychology with Honours (The University of Newcastle)
- Registered with Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (Ahpra)
- Endorsed as an Educational and Developmental Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia
- Psychology Board of Australia approved supervisor
- Medicare provider
- Registered Circle of Security Parenting facilitator
Work days: Kylie is available for appointments on Monday and occasional Fridays in person and online.
